Charles Kelley is a country music singer-songwriter and a member of the internationally famous country trio Lady Antebellum. Stepping outside of one of the world’s most popular groups, Charles Kelley explores new territory on his 2016 debut solo album, The Driver, with a raw sound that pushes his vocals into a lower, grittier key than what listeners have been hearing from him in Lady Antebellum.

His song "The Driver" was born in a ratty studio in the back of producer Paul Worley's office. His unmatched perspective of hours spent on the road pursuing a life-long dream is present in his impeccable voice.

The album's closer, "Leaving Nashville," touches on many of the same themes as "The Driver," exploring the sacrifices a struggling musician in Nashville makes to keep pursuing their dream. In addition to his success as part of Grammy Award-winning country music trio Lady Antebellum, Kelley has also written #1 hits recorded by Luke Bryan and Darius Rucker.

Kelley is married to music rep Cassie McConnell, and he is an avid golfer and motorcycle enthusiast. He is also the brother-in-law of actress Katherine Heigl.
