His amazing vocals and wonderful songcraft makes him a favorite among those who know him and those who have yet to meet him. If you go to one of his shows, go up and say hi, he’s sweet and will chat with you.
Colin released the album "Sometimes The Nice Boy Wins" under the nom de plume of The Part-Time Losers as well as an album in collaboration with The Magogs as Colin Clary and The Magogs titled "Her Life of Crime," both of which were on the North of January label.
Sometimes Colin plays guitar and records songs with James Kochalka. Many of which are available on Kochalka's American Elf site as bonus features for subscribers.Colin was the person behind Sudden Shame Records which released albums by Brian, Colin and Vince, Snowi Springs, Guppyboy, Missy Bly, James Kochalka Superstar, Madelines, The Four Color Manual, Stupid Club (Neil Cleary), and singles and cassettes featuring the likes of The Smiles, Chisel, The Van Pelt, Radio to Saturn, Brain, Colin and Vince (again), Six Cents and Natalie, Huffy, The Essex Green, The Sixth Great Lake and more.
He has released a couple solo albums on the Dangerfive label, Rock-n-Roll Haikus, and One Hundred Decembers, both of which were recorded by David Zacharis.Colin's most recent solo release is a 10-song ep called "Every Little Thing Counts" for the WeePOP! label, released on February 28, 2009.
Since then he has seen the release of a Let's Whisper full-length album in fall 2011 on WeePOP! and a digital single and full-length album with The Smittens, both out in the summer of 2012 on the Fika Recordings label.
