Up-and-coming Brazilian trance producer Danilo Ercole was born in Curitiba City on August 8th 1981. He started DJing at the age of 15, when he was playing dance music at friends' parties. His music taste developed over those years & in 2000 Danilo began mixing trance.
Now seven years later he is one of the top few DJs in the genre in Brazil, having played at all of the major clubs & events. His sets encompass progressive, uplifting & tech-trance, always with plenty of energy.
=================================================== In 2004, Danilo began producing techno/electro influenced tracks under the alias 'Dec D', which found favour with various DJs across the world. However 2007 has proved to be the year of his break-through into the global trance scene thanks to a variety of stunning productions.
The first of which was his bootleg mix of Jose Gonzalez - 'Crosses', which was played by Armin van Buuren on his 'A State Of Trance' radio show three times! It was also played by Judge Jules on BBC Radio 1, with further support coming from Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Marcus Schulz & many more.
=================================================== Danilo immediately followed up the success of his 'Crosses' bootleg by producing 'Sea Shadow', which again found favour with Armin on ASOT, subsequently being licenced by Five AM Records in the UK for release on September 20th 2007.
=================================================== Danilo is now in demand as a remixer & his first release on a major trance label was his progressive mix of Acute vs Aimar - 'Still Waters'. This has just come out on Mike Koglin's label, NOYS.
Danilo has also recently remixed Global Illumination - 'Tremble' for Armada Records, due to Armin's appreciation of his work. Lost Witness also commissioned a remix of their latest track 'Dreams', which is forthcoming on the new Slinky label.
=================================================== Danilo's productions have three main ingredients; groove, melody & lots of energy, fused together with a variety of influences! Keep your eyes peeled & listen out for this emerging Brazilian, his future certainly looks bright.
