Add to FavoritesDario Marianelli (born 25 May 1963 in Pisa, Italy) is a Academy Award-winning film score composer.Active since 1994, he has composed the soundtracks for many films, including "The Brothers Grimm", "Pride & Prejudice", "V for Vendetta" and "Atonement".
He received an Oscar nomination for Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Score for "Pride & Prejudice" in 2005. In 2008, he received a Golden Globe for Best Original Score as well as an Academy Award Best Original Score for "Atonement".
Marianelli has collaborated with director Joe Wright four times, on "Pride & Prejudice", "Atonement", "The Soloist" and "Anna Karenina".
