Chilean band DIE BRAUT is born in December of year 2006, under the hand of its creator Cristian Soto Vanelli. The one that in a beginning would be a solo project and with another name, was transformed quickly into a pair, with the incorporation of a feminine figure, Katia Figueroa (Braut), being really the creative voice and of all the líricas.

Die Braut is framed within a style Dark Electro, with influences of European and South American bands as It forces like Suicide Commando and Hocico, creating with this a tense atmosphere in its loaded compositions, rates, evolutionary melodies and dark and fast sequences.

One of the excellent characteristics but of the band is the versatility and the handling of the languages, that allow them to create lyrics in German, English and Spanish, being the first maternal language of Katia, which allows him to the band quickly to be listened to in countries like Germany, Holland and Austria through contacts in Internet, Web radios and specialized magazines.

Die Braut begins to work in his first musical creations, of experimental form, emphasizing within the sound concept the presence of the distorted main voice of a woman, something not very typical within this musical style.

The creation of songs like “Verbrechen”, “Mutter Bitte”, “Hure” and “Unsehbar”, they would mark to the guideline of which later would be the thematic one of first demo of Die Braut, in which subjects like the violence, the abuse and the psycological damage exerted on the woman stand out, as well as the incest, the abandonment and exerted the physical and psychological violence in the children of Chile.

Due to the distribution via Internet of this demo and to the great acceptance that so much has the South America as in Europe, in 2007 signs contract with label BIOHAZZARD RECORD, DANSEMACABRE RECORDS branch, in Germany.

This landmark would mark the beginning of which it would be the creation of the first album of the band, maintaining the thematic initial of the lyrics, but now marked by a professional and work but elaborated sound.

In Julio of 2008 debut of the band is sent to the album, call “UNSEHBAR”, which enters the DAC quickly, like album revelation, and which it is distributed in countries like Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Denmark, France, the United States, Canada and Mexico, having great acceptance by the public and the specialized press.

The previous thing took to the band to be interviewed by magazines specialized like Zillo Magazine, Negatief and Darknoise Magazine, as well as commentaries and positive revisions of the launching of the album in Orkus, Sonic Seducer and in diverse Web sites related to the Electro culture in Europe, America and Russia.

In parallel form, Die Braut appears frequently live within diverse clubs of Chile, until in June of 2008, the band makes his first and successful presentation in the foreigner, in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil, with the producer Vanquish Fest.

, next to the local band Dead Jump. This presentation would mark the beginning of the importance that would have the band within the South American scene and of that outside the present live sound of Die Braut.

In August of 2009, Die Braut is again invited to participate in a festival to international level, in the city of Lima, Peru, in the Electronic South America Festival, next to bands like FGFC820, Punto Omega and Arian 1.

The presentation of Die Braut is again successful, having a great acceptance on the part of the public and with a sound and putting in quite solid scene.At the moment Die Braut is working in the creation of its second album, call “World of Lies” which will be commercially sent in Chile and the world through seal ORION RECORDS and making diverse live presentations within Chile.

Die Braut, through its short diverse race has made remixes to national bands like foreigners, among them Acylum, Wynardtage and La Magra, being published in its respective launchings and having great acceptance between the listeners.

Finally Die Braut adopts the motto “Freiheit, Gerechtigkeit, Freundschaft”, in where only the love and the respect by the human being he is the unique thing who has capacity within his intentions and thoughts, also extending this message towards the listeners of his music and adopting it as life form.
