Consisting of members from some of Australia’s finest progressive rock acts of the past two decades – (Karnivool, COG and Scarymother) F L O A T I N G M E released their debut single "Sugar" in late 2010 and their debut self-titled album April 2011 on Cross Section (The Boxer Rebellion, Foreign Objects) through Inertia.

Vocalist Andrew Gillespie, guitarist Antony Brown and keys-man Tobias Messiter all hail from ‘the’ rock band of the 90s, Scarymother.

Drummer, Lucius Borich of enormously influential hard progressive rock trio, COG, and Jon Stockman of Karnivool on bass. All together, these musicians boast a world of experience, including two #2 ARIA charting Gold albums, tours with System of a Down, Faith No More, Rollins Band and Fear Factory, tracks in the Triple J Hottest 100 and extensive touring across Australia playing the biggest festivals Australia has to offer as well as the UK and USA.

Recorded and mixed by ARIA Award (nominated) producer Forrester Savell (The Butterfly Effect, Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus), the debut album by F L O A T I N G M E is set to be an epic journey. From subtlety to pure power, the group brings a rock trip that is cinematic and haunting.
