Henk Westbroek (27 February 1952, Utrecht, The Netherlands) is a Dutch sociologist, singer, songwriter, politician, entrepreneur and radio host. In 1981 he became a radio presenter, he also has the 80s hits like "In Het Leven"(In The Life), "Gijzelaar"(Hostage), "Belgiƫ"(Belgium) and "Vriendschap"(Friendship) with the successful band Het Goede Doel starting in 1979.
After disagreements with Henk Temming he stopped in 1991 with "Het Goede Doel" and started a solo career with hits like "Waar Ze Loopt Te Wandelen" and "Zelfs Je Naam Is Mooi". In 1996 he recorded a single with the noise trio Gore, called Gore + Henk.
In 2001 "Het Goede Doel" have a reunion and there are some new songs created for the box set "Geef De Mensen Wat Ze Willen"(Give the People What They Want). The new song "Alle Mensen Wonen Op De Aarde"(All The People Live On Earth) is the last physical single from the band.
A whole new album from the band is released in 2008, followed by a tour in 2009 and a big benefit show in Ahoy including Frank Boeijen, De Kast and Alderliefste.After he was dismissed by 3FM, he still could be heard almost daily on KXradio, the Internet station of Rob Stenders.
The second reunion album of "Het Goede Doel", titled "Liefdewerk" is expected to appear on 14 February 2011 (Valentines day)
