Born in Newark, New Jersey, Neako grew up in the infamous "Hoodaville" section of the city. "Growing up in Newark as a kid, you’re just trying to live." says Neako about his upbringing. At the age of thirteen Neako was introduced to creating music and he has not stopped since.

After being thrust into a neigborhood cypher, Neako knew then and there that he wanted to become a rapper.His “Rubix Cube” mixtape series (Red Edition, Green Edition, and most recently Blue Edition) have earned him appearances on Sirius/XM Radio, New York’s Hot 97, MTV Germany, and coverage on popular hip-hop websites NahRight, 2DopeBoyz, OnSmash, and many more.

Neako has collaborated with artists such as Wiz Khalifa, Young Chris, as well as rap legend Bun B."I love being a new artist, I get motivation from my peers and I know what I'm doing motivates them as well.
