Born on February 15 in a Valledupar (Cesar), you could say that the child learned to play the accordion in the most brilliant way before he could even speak!. This way, Omar became a personality in his neighborhood, as well as his brother, Juan Manuel.

The artist lived only for music and got the title of " Vallenato's Child King ", a title he won in his first debut in front of thousands of people in his homeland. After this, he started to compose beautiful lyrics and years later he won the title of "Amateur King of Vallenato" performing in an excellent way during the Legend of Vallenato Festival.
