Ohio natives Outrun The Gun have been writing and touring feverishly since their conception in late 2006, as a result they continuously have an ever-expanding fan-base. The band was started on a foundation of two simple ideas: honesty and hard work.
Honesty in lyrical and musical content, actions, relationships, and working as hard as possible to bring this refreshing lack of falsehood to fans far and wide. This dictum has been well rewarded as many are becoming tired of the same stale presets that have become the signature sound of the current metal scene.
Outrun The Gun has been pushing the envelope since their April, 2008 signing to Torque Records. Although they are no strangers to adversity, they have come out on top time and time again with a sound that is both unique, yet vaguely familiar for a newly blossoming metal band from the Midwest.
