Rebel Moves' set in 2000 by Hakan Ozer, Cem Ozkan, Omer Ahunbay and Oguz Kaplangi. In same year their first album "In House Sessions" -formed with jam sessions- was released with 399 copies and handed out to thier close friends.

With Erol Cay'S (vocals) and Kerem Eye's (drums) participations, band formed their final line-up. With these 6 members, Rebel Moves began to make jam sessions.Since 2001, rebel Moves performed in various clubs and festivals.

Many international and local musicians accompanied Rebel Moves in the sessions and concerts. In Year 2003, band released their first single, "French Fries A La Turca" from Elec-Trip Records. Single contains 3 tracks, "French Fries A La Turca", "Sheep" and "Sheep cOzinga Latin Mixj" by Ozan Colakoglu.

"Sheep cOzinga Latin MixJ" entered the charts in 500 radio stations in 80 countries.In Year 2004, Rebel Moves took place in the album Istanbul Calling with Bandare, (Elec-Trip Records, 2004). In same year, Bandare's used in Ford Kia commercial.

Before thier first album released, the song "Are you Satisfied?" is used in Peugot commercial which broadcasting in 19 countries.Lyrics are written in English, French, Turkish and Rebel Moves's Rebelish.

Rebelish is a language that has got no meanings but melodies transformed into words whilst making the songs.
