Add to FavoritesSamantha Ronson is a popular A-list party DJ/rock singer, which seems to run in the family. Her step-father is musician Mick Jones of the rock band Foreigner and her mom is Ann Dexter-Jones; her brother is legendary British DJ and producer Mark Ronson.
She was formerly signed to hip hop label Roc-A-Fella Records and she released three songs: "Pull My Hair Out", "Fool", and "Built This Way" which was featured in the movie Mean Girls.n 2004, Ronson wrote and recorded her first album "RED", which was never released, though song downloads were made available from her MySpace page.
Ronson also made a number of appearances on mix tapes produced by artists signed to the Roc-A-Fella label. After leaving Roc-A-Fella, Ronson moved to Los Angeles and continued playing shows, DJ'ing, as well as writing and recording music.
She is also a co-owner of the New York City nightclub The Plumm, along with actor Chris Noth, David Wells and Noel Ashman, among others.
