The Paranoid is metalcore/hard rock band from Šurany, Slovakia.Band THE PARANOID was founded in 2002 by vocalist Igor Belaj and drumer Ondrej Hnat. Bassguitar post was changed few times: Martin Vacho, Martin Krišák and later Roman Klčo and with current member Patrik Sýkora.
Originally plays on guitar vocalist Igor until it was drafted to Roman Birkuš, current guitarist, to join band. In 2008 band signed on competition BlastBeat. They started making new material and they got into national final and won it.
In 2010 they released their first album "Posledný Nádych".On 29th of February 2012 was released their second album named "DVA SVETY". Album was recorded in Faust Records studio in Prague (Czech Republic).
There are 12 songs. They made 3 official music videos on the songs from album "DVA SVETY" to songs - Odkaz, Únos and Noc Patrí NámIn 2013 they released two singles called "Z PLNÝCH PĽÚC" and „Neviem ti povedať nie" and went on Club tour 2013.
The Paranoid has new talented drummer, Miloš Zaujec.Their third album called "SEDEM" is released on 7 March 2014. Then the band went on a two-month (April & May 2014) tour in Czech Republic and Slovakia called „Sedem Tour“.
