Thousand Foot Krutch is a Canadian Christian alternative rock band that formed in 1995 when its founding members starting putting a praise and worship spin on the popular nu-metal sound of the time. After several personnel changes, Thousand Foot Krutch's current members are Trevor McNevan (vocals, guitar), Joel Bruyere (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Steve Augustine (drums).
Thousand Foot Krutch has been nominated for numerous Juno Awards and Gospel Music Association Dove Awards. The band released their eighth studio album, Exhale, in June 2016. The album sold well, debuting at #34 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
Chris Major, allocating the album 4.7 stars in a review for The Christian Beat, wrote, "Exhale is heavy, gritty, explosive, and bold, saturated with uncontainable energy from start to finish."
