In their music slam meets rock and electro of 80's, with a twist of hip hop 2012, and more pop - they define it as slamstandupelectrorock. With this music Twin Twin pack concert halls, since on the stage they managed to create something really new.
The Twin Twin experience is primarily in concerts, they have around 230 stage performances under their belt, including festivals Rock en Seine in 2010, Printemps de Bourges and Francofolies in 2011 and at Solidays in 2012.
Lorent and François grew up in Montreuil. Passionate about cinema and music, they navigated between urban and classical culture. The twins began their artistic careers with cinema, working as camera assistants in Why Not Productions .
Later François has served as bassist in various rock bands. Lorent was experimenting with slam music and writing, he published his first novel "Un nageur dans le ciel" in 2010. Regulars of Paris squats, twins Lorent and François were members of the collective "Black & White Skins" with Hindi Zahra, Hugh Coltman, Lippie, etc.
They started their first band Spleen there. Later they formed slam band "Chimera" with witch have released a self-produced album "Un Cheval Sur Le Périphérique" in 2007. They met in Paris bar Patrick and liked his style, inviting him to move to their house in Montreuil and share the rent.
So Twin Twin were formed. They became finalists of Zebrock in 2008 , they were discovered by Marie Audigier (ODJ Music) in a restaurant in 2009 and then things took off for Twin Twin, winning the contest "Lance-toi en live", allowing them to go on tour with BB Brunes and VV Brown.
They won SFR Jeunes Talents Music award and were signed to Warner music, released in 2011 EP "By My Side" and in April 2013 first album "Vive la vie".
