Vincent Colaiuta (born February 5, 1956) is an American drummer currently based in Los Angeles. He has played on numerous records and toured with many highly respected musicians playing a wide variety of genres.

Being an innovative player, Colaiuta has frequently predated all his peers in accomplishing technical feats. At the moment he is one of the most in demand studio musicians on the planet. In 1994 Colaiuta released a self-titled solo recording, co-starring Sting, Dominic Miller, Chick Corea, David Sancious, Herbie Hancock, John Patitucci and Jeff Beal.

He has also released two studio albums and one live outing with Jimmy Haslip and Robben Ford under the moniker "Jing Chi"Performed with:Karizma, Michael Landau, David Garfield, Neil Stubenhaus, Los Lobotomys, Frank Zappa, Robben Ford, Bill Evans, Will Lee, Mark Egan, Tim Lefebvre, Jim Beard, Chuck Loeb, Dean Brown, Lee Ritenour, Jeff Porcaro, Carlos Vega, Jeff Richmann, Nik Kershaw, Sting, Herbie Hancock, David Goldblatt, Steve Tavglione, David Sancious, John Patitucci, Tim Landers, Mike Miller, Dominic Miller, Jeff Beck, Megadeth… and many more.
