She ended up at the top spot. A nice birthday gift from her fans. Throughout the whole season, Amandine impressed the judges and the audience with her bold and unexpected choices of song. She covered, amongst others, "Bring Me To Life" (Evanescence), "Hey You" (Pink Floyd), "River Deep Mountain High" (Ike & Tina Turner), "Nothing Compares 2U" (Prince / Sinead O'Connor) or even "Bad Girl" (Donna Summer).
Amandine Bourgeois was internally selected to represent France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song L’enfer et moi.
